I'm a bit late to the Cyborg party (not counting my one lone Neo HC), but thanks to Michael Jaecks, I've finally gotten one of the ones I've wanted but never expected to own:

Gotta love the fact the extra Robotman (or Phobos in this case) bits were made expressly for mashing the toys up like this!

And here he joins the bigger 'bot shelf:

Man, it's been super dead around here for a while, hasn't it? Has anyone heard from Bryanarchy lately? I know some folks have been wanting to join the forum but haven't gotten approvals for quite some time.

Yeah, where is everyone? I myself have nothing to add recently, too busy with work and other projects, but I like reading the posts of others.

Hey thanks! I'm hoping to do some new pics of the said "Spriggan-X" one of these days. Very Happy

Enari-san had a couple of new interesting kits ready for WonderFest this year but was pressured by other dealers affected by the license change to close shop there--kind of a "if we can't sell our stuff, neither should you" atmosphere from what I understand, even though the kits are of his own intellectual property. Sure, the loss of the one-day licenses from everyone but Gainax for the event was a disaster, but that's no reason to take it out on people who were unaffected by it through no fault of their own. Just boycott the event itself or whatever. Sad

With any luck, he'll offer them by other means soon instead.

Hello, I was doing an internship for 2 wks in London-was okay. Lately got back into Vintage Action Man but ebay has been meagre for pickings lately.

So why does Android A have weird big grey arms????

Saw TRON: LEGACY on Sky the other night....felt it was a bit boring, music by Daft Punk was good. Did anyone else whose seen it think Michael Sheen as Zeus was a bit too much Ziggy Stardust?

They are these arms:

Android A and Robotman were both part of Takara's "Victory Project" and using extra parts supplied with Robotman are meant to be interchangeable. These parts were included with the Micronauts version, Biotron (and the later Phobos headswapped recolor) but without any explicit purpose or explanation and always seemed kind of strange.

I am very sorry to have fallen off the face of the Earth.
Over the summer, we have had visiting relatives and the basement water meter replaced.
events such as these mean that the toys are packed away and there is no room to breathe. Hopefully now I will be able to start work on customizing again.

BTW: Great post Bry. I love the prototype LIS movie robot.

A few weeks ago I posted about bacon in the Walder General section.
I was bored and trying to jumpstart a little conversation around here too.
I guess nobody likes bacon? Confused

I'm around as always, but I just don't have much to add.
Cyborg pickings have been slim for over a year, as has work Sad
After getting an Android A, I've been trying to find a reasonable set of extra limbs... as well as a boxed vintage Cyborg... in nice shape... no luck on either for quite some time!

I got kicked off of selling on eBay in June (FYI: it's become incredibly easy to get free goods now, and I will gladly explain how to avoid such problems in another thread soon!) so my prev times of buying Cyborg lots and selling off or trading the extra bits I don't want on eBay has died too.

Also got sick of staying up all night and battling the same three eBay re-sellers on Y!J over and over again... so annoying to battle 4-5+ guys just to get one hand out of a lot of parts. However they've been losing money on eBay vs. Y!J winning prices for over six months on most stuff so hopefully it will change soon.

My scanner broke so I can't scan the rest of the HC guidebook right now Sad I will figure out a way to finish the thread out with all the photos of the RAH 90's stuff!

much love guys
