You can have a 1979 X-mas

Or a 1978 X-mas

I got my Mobile Exploration Lab out of this catalogue

Look at the prices of this stuff....bloody 'inflation', truly a by product of bad management by sucessive Governments and resources as well as the owners of resources and industry being greedy upping the price...ho hum.

Theres a lot of nice stuff in there. Methinks I'd simply want the Sharna / Cheriliea Jeep and trailer, Action Man Soldier and Pilot and a helicopter.

The Bionic Mission Vehicle was later reused by sister company Palitoy for the Action Man Space Rangers 'Solar Hurricane', with a few modifications...just look at those old toys - so much nicer and more fun than the tripe put out today...what a shame. Look at the Hornby and Lima trains - a time when these were marketed to kids, not the boring old farts who collect them now...

I think in one way or another everything in the photos requires more imagination when playing with compared to the gimick laden toys of today including the Lego. I much like classic older Lego, especially Town stuff than the things they churn out today.
