From what I've read it exposes a button that activates the sounds when it's in the "open" position.

Apparently they are bringing back the Silurians or maybe it's the Sea Devils or some variant.

Yes, its in next weeks episode. I am pretty sure its the Silurians as well, they appear to have evolved. They wear masks over their new style faces that look reptilic with big black eyes but when its removed, like a face plate they have far more humanoid features and human shaped eyes. Basically, lizard skinned still but not sure if the eyes are reptilic/cat like....I expect the evolution will be explained that they've either had to use human dna to survive or over the years have evolved...i.e. had they remained masters of Earth and not lost to the Ice Age they pretty much would be all the more humanoid by now.....Could be wrong have to wait and see.

I did actually think the DreamLord was The Master but it was an unpredictable twist that it was the darker side of the Doc, and yes, I also found it intriguing that he saw his darksides reflection for a momentary second at the end....good plot in the making, I think it will continue, i.e. reflecting the Docs own inner demons deep down as part of his loneliness, either that, or its what he would have become if he'd be self serving and evil...Loneliness does bring such traits out once in a while in real life....

Yes they are! Our next new one is the Vampires in Venice one.
Personally I'm getting bored with Smith already.

He does have a face like a flattened squid,
And his speech impediment is annoying.
He's constantly looking from under his brow, and seems
to have his lines taped up around the set out of camera view.
There's no "intrigue" or mystery to him, he just seems to ALWAYS
know what to do!
It's like Superman. He's indestructible, we get it.

The FUNNIEST thing about Enfield's "the Scousers" was the
fact that the two funniest, and famous lines, were actually
ad-libbed by the two REAL scousers in the sketch!!
The "Calm Down, Calm Down" and "dey do dough don't dont dey dough"
See, truly a comedic genius city.
