Iím currently working in London, and a couple of blocks away is a toy museum I hadnít previously known about. Itís just off the Tottenham Court Road. The man was very agreeable and let me visit twice over two days for my £5 because I only get half hour lunch breaks.

My favourite display was the space toys.

A modest Action figure display here, just one one-shoed Action Man in a camp pose (they can NEVER pose Action Man in museums!), a Tommy Gunn and a 1920s metal forerunner from Germany (they had a similar couple in Arne toy museum; see my old thread).

Check out the surreal wheelie toff and the tinned dog.

This tin milk float comes with a milkman who looks like a cheese triangle, although on the picture on the box he looks normal.

Call me a girl but I love the dollsí houses.

Creepy dolls and a creepy doll room. Iíd hate be locked in there.

They had lots of toys from around the world, some pretty humble, tin toys, Victorian cardboard theatres and shit.

I love these Indian musician dolls but itís probably because I love Indian music.

Isnít the doll in the dungarees the cutest?
