I really want of these guys, does not have to be complete.
I've become obsessed with the The classic Fly recently.

Doc Mego sells a repo Fly head. You can get it molded in several different colors. It's the cheapest way to go. He has a couple of other Tomland heads too.

Lol, I thought about that. You can get all the clothes you need for cheap, and I was thinking of customizing it to look like the original with hair and flocking.
I'm not concerned about cost when it comes to an original though, I'll pay top dollar for one. I'm collecting what little Fly merchandise there is out there.

This thread reminded me to go looking for Retro Resin, who did an Aurora style Monsters of the Movies kit of the classic Fly. But it appears Retro Resin have bitten the dust, and gone is my chance to get their cool repros and new kits.

That Retro Resin Fly looks cool. One will probably pop up on e-bay eventually, Hypno.

Clone 666- Did you see that 12 or 13 inch classic Fly doll that came out a few years ago? It had cloth clothing and I think it might have had some hair on it.I forget who made it though, but I remember it looked pretty good.

Also I think it was MacFarland toys in their Movie Maniacs line made a Jeff Goldblum style Fly action figure. But yeah, they didn't make a lot of Fly stuff.

Here's another little hard to find Fly, this one made in Spain in the '90's.
I got this one years ago at a toy show.It was one in a series of about twenty monsters.

Hypno, that kit is awesome, too bad it's not available anymore. I saw a similar kit by Cultmantv but it wasn't nearly as accurate.

I LOVE that Majestic toys Return of the Fly, someone is actually getting me one for my Birthday day next month.
Monolith, who makes that little figure? I need one!
I saw this custom on ebay that's pretty cool too.

I've also started work on a replica of the 58 Fly mask.
I'm even using real turkey feathers for the mouth thingy like Ben Nye did.
After this one I'm doing The Return of the Fly

Thanks Bazza
The sculpt is Klean Klay right now, but it will eventually be cast in latex with punched in hair and vac-formed eye shells. I think the probosis(mouth thingy) will be cast in resin. No one has ever made a 100% accurate replica of the original Fly mask made by Ben Nye, and I've been following his methods closely.

I don't remember what company made that little Fly other than they are from Spain. So,it is a Spanish Fly! They also came with a little pamphlet showing all the monsters in the line.I have some pamphlets packed away somewhere, not sure where, though.

Your mask looks really great! It's going to be awesome when finished!

Lol, the Spanish Fly joke crossed my mind too Laughing

I'll have to keep my eye out for it.
Thanks for the kudos on the mask, after it's done I'm off to make that bigass The Return of the Fly mask. That's gonna need a bit more clay though.
