Looking for some Japanese stuff for my ZEIRAM futuristic Japanese street diorama i'm working on.
Anyone know where i can get Japanese stuff to dress my diorama?
Things like little Japanese newspapers, magazines, stickers, signs and things you might get in a Japanese street?
The figures are 6 and 7 inches high for scale.
Doing okay so far.
Blagged a bin, a pagoda topped booth/ shelter, a dragon sign, a pull up telephone unit and some sweet oriental looking air freshner tops lol.
I could do with some oriental street figures to beef up the 2 ZEIRAM figures.
I'm in the U.K..

Nice Diorama! Hopefully we're not talking about the GIANT Zeiram figure from Medicom...

Not bad for free.
Needs more pipes and stuff added before i paint it.
Giant ZEIRAM figure from Medicom?
How giant?
No my ZEIRAM is only 7 inches.
Had a search and found some Japanese text from old robot boxes and stuff off Japanese pen pals.
Sadly i could only ever get female Japanese penpals.
Otherwise i could have scored all sorts of goodies off a Japanese male Sci-Fi nut penpal.
Still need some thinner Japanese newspapers to scrunch up and use as litter.
Going beachcombing for pipes and bits for the diorama.

I've got a box of tiny items made by Re-ment (Punchi?).
milk carton, Ice cream cone, chop sticks and two trays of take-out sushi.
(all items from a 24 hour convenience store I think)

you could try going to a stationary shop or an art supply store, get some very thin paper, and print the magazines and newspapers out yourself... you shouldn't have a problem finding images online...

Nice tip thanks.
I can probably get some old Chinese newspapers to scrunch up for rubbish quite easily.
Just think Japanese newsprint will be better.
I found a perfect scale oil drum while beachcombing.
It was a "TOXIC WASTE" candy container.
Also spotted some cool little Japanese themed figures in POUNDLAND.
I'd like to make a JAPANESE TOY SHOP DIORAMA NOW!
Which figure could i use for an old Japanese toy shop man?
What colour are photo booths in Japan?
