I've been tempted to change the inner bands and such to clear as well, but I'm too scared to take the suits back off haha

A friend of mine picked them up for me when they were released. I haven't seen any clear ones for sale in a long time though sadly. I wish I had hundreds of these haha

Ah these were from VxFxCx which stands for Visitor From Cosmo. Should likely be Cosmos, but it's not. They're just one of the companies/individuals you hit these up for the shows like Wonderfest where they are alloted a show license to produce the stuff. Usually the stuff isn't even announced until the week or day of the show and often the pieces are sold amongst the creators and or dealers before the show even opens. A decent run is probably 50 so getting ahold of any of these is really a bitch.

Visitor from Cosmo as in Man from Cosmo's. Cosmo's as in belonging to Cosmo. Gotta dig that Japananglais.

I've also seen them use Virus Force Concentration for their name. It's like they thought of the acronym then tried to fit words to it.

Is the transparent set rarer than the Opaque set then?

I consider myself mighty lucky to have one of each, transparent and opaque.

What is Man from Cosmo's? The actual company name is Visitor From Cosmo but yes they use the acronym to fit all kinds of random monikers and toy names, which makes it a bit confusing. As Guy noted the suits themselves are called Violent Funeral Creatures. The Virus Force Concentration I believe referred to their series of germ toys with space ships. Here is their site, not much there but some nice links:

"Man from Cosmo's Invader" is the full title for the vintage Invader figures in the Henshin Cyborg line.
