All 3 Japanese Androids were sold as complete figures -
Android A (transparent black head and limbs), Chojin or Super A (chrome head with transparent black neck, transparent black limbs with chromed parts emerging through) and Robot A (completely chrome rectangular head and limbs). Each has a different, removable chest engine. Parts for the Chojin and Robot figures were sold separately so you could buy Android A and convert him. These were leg sets, arm sets and head with engine and missiles sets.
So, the Chojin head you want was sold with an engine and missiles. Unfortunately I don't have one to offer. There is a lovely looking complete Chojin figure up on YJ at the moment, though, and he's cheap at the moment but I expect he'll finish up expensive. In fact there are examples of all 3 figures, boxed. I can fish out the links of you like.
Any other info you need?

that covers it, thanks Hypno!
I got my Super A minus it's chrome head and chest engine,
but the auction came with the separate boxed Robot A head and chest with missiles.
So I kind of have a mis-matched setup, but I don't really mind.
http://www.visibleinnards.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=993 (thanks again BAZ)
I would like to get the correct chrome head for him because I think that head looks evil.
I took pictures of everything when I got it all, so I will eventually post some pictures
of the box with the Robot A head and chest engine.
The box is dirty and a little beat up, but not too bad.

nice! These are excellent, though I haven't had a chance to open mine yet.
I try to photograph stuff right after opening, otherwise I forget and never get around to the job.
These are too expensive at $70 each but I got mine for $35 each from a Skullbrain member.
I guess the unpainted ones are not as desired now that the painted ones are out.
Hopefully this weekend I can get my troopers photographed and out on display.
I am curious to smell them.

man... I had that Star Trek playset... seems like a lifetime ago.
ugh! I just noticed the hand in the foreground. I'm getting a queezy feeling in my stomach.

Thanks, Guy!

So you used a fabric dye? It looks almost opaque. He looks great, though. I presume you used an Android neck to fit the torso. Is that the one from the Hypnotator head that you must have butchered to fit in the other one's chest? Does the Cyborg head fit snugly without much adaptation?

Who is that dodgy Scot?

Nice head swap customization on the Android! I was hoping to do that too one day, now I know it will look great! Thanks!

Thanks : )
The custom corner is usually pretty busy with 20 projects in waiting.
Never satisfied Unless I can use my share of Vintaage and OBSCURE parts.

THe Scottsman was from Palitoy's BATTLE BRIGADE BTW...

The head is a little dark, but as I made the thing in the 1990's I could prolly do it better now.
I'd use one of the smoke colored paint sets.

Custom Projects look like they are coming along well! Dr. Strange looks sharp. The new Captain Action action Figures look great are the heads made of resin or rubber? I've been waiting to order wonderingIf I can dye the heads a different color.

Custom CA note. The dummies that come with uniforms for Praying Mantis the heads are easily cut off and fit well on Cyborgs neck.

THe CA figures are nice and vinyl, BUT only the ist issue figs state that YOU CANNOT REMOVE THE HEADS WITHOUT HOT WATER!
WIsh they had IDEAL head style, vs Mego style plug.
The neck is pretty THIN. My first doc Eville neck snapped within 3 minutes of opening it, as I tried to adjust it.

After that it was back to my constant customizing companion, the glass of hot water.
the 1st issued set came with bonus CRAZY heads in CHeech & Chong style.
Cap action looks HOMELESS with a gray beard & Dr Evil has HUGE pupils and bloodshot eyes. THey look like they are seriously baked, but are very funny. (see version in the foreground) Shocked
