I had a really good toy weekend so I thought I'd share a few pics.

In the mail I got these really great Microrobot V leg bootlegs. They have diecast boots and are pretty much a straight bootleg except with shortened thighs for some unknown reason haha:

I went to shopping in the morning with some friends and got:

Some loose Micronaut aliens:

A really clean Bandai Tamagoras:

I also picked up the Pee Wee Herman Ventriloquist Doll and some view master reels. Pretty good haul!

Nice aliens! Wher'd you go to pick those up? You've got a vintage toy shop in your area?

I totally missed this reply until now (nothing like a many months late hahaha). Not directly near me but about 45-1 hour away there are two strip malls facing each other that have several vintage toy stores there. Not usually much in the way of this stuff but something usually pops up from time to time.

That is the first sound I'm inclined to make every time I pick him up. I got to see the new show live here in Los Angeles. The date and venue and everything got moved but the people that bought the tickets originally got to stay after for like an hour or so for an extra talk. I'll tell you it's pretty damn surreal when Pee Wee is standing right next to you.

Whoa. Those Microrobot V leg bootlegs… Where were they originally sold? Somehow the blank packaging seems like South America or Philippines.

They're from Bulgaria. Strangely enough the company that made these actually produced licensed Matchbox products in Bulgaria too, although I don't believe this was the case with these haha.

Ahhh, Eastern Europe! The land where some folks are licensed to do work, but thanks to crappy economies that “backdoor” is always open.
