Greetings once again good sirs,

Did anyone watch the first half of the season finale? "The Pandoricus opens"

It was fookin ace! I only half saw the twist coming and it was dark (for kid's TV)

The cyber-head was a cool update too, with the squid limbs and the skull.

Yeah, the cyber skull thingy was cool. Always imagined that under the faceplate would be a whithered skull like that.

Mind you, the writers need to bring back updated original Mondas/Telos Cybermen as the new series ones are the alternate Earth Cybus Industries ones and they're basically making them out to be THE Cybermen, i.e. they have far advanced technology and the ships are capable of time travel....How can they be the new versions of the original 'alien' Cybermen if they came from the mirror Earth....?

They even built a 'Cyber King' which is summat the original ones could only do but these fuckers are from just an alternate Earth....

Rolling Eyes Shocked Question

Anyhow, whats been great about the new series writing is that you can't really guess the plot arch at all....which makes a rather refreshing change. I read an interview with Matt Smith and he said when they start shooting next series he'll be a 'bit more demanding' i.e. he said: '....if someones in my eyeline of a shot I'll ask them to move or ask for a scene to be shot in a certain way if I've thought of something.....' All well and good as an actor but if I where in that plum role I wouldn't be too much of a prima-donna....

He did mention something about going to the costumiers about his clobber for the next series and would like to have some sort of a hat....That part I did like. I think the Doc needs a trilby, a new overcoat and a scarf....I've seen Matt on Confidential and a longer greatcoat and scarf did suit him, they were his own clothes mind but that saying.....

Anyhoooo.....tomorrows viewing should be good and I look forward to further adventures with No.11. Very Happy

Now FUCK OFF TWUNTO'S!!!!!!!!!!!! Twisted Evil

Well, we're a three weeks behind you guys so I guess no surprises for me then.
And I'm getting bored with the series to be honest.
I DID like Rory dying and all that and history(well future history) apparently changing, but Smith is really grating on my nerves.
And I was SO excited when I read the Sea Devils were coming back!!!!!!
Until I saw the episode. It was the OTHER Silurians......
They looked like DS9 aliens!

Soz Baz, I don't think we gave too much away, the Cyber men are in the series trailer they've been showing, apart from them being in the finale there's a lot of other stuff that you won't guess, it's worth persevering with. I think it was the best episode since the relaunch, apart from Blink.

The Silurians were a let down, but I liked the whole "Doug McClure" vibe the episode had.

sf1378, I was thinking that about the original cybermen vs the trigger-made ones, they'll find some way to course correct I'm sure. I hope he doesn't end up like Tom Baker, he turned into a bit of an egomaniac.

I'm not sure about the hat, but I think they should put him in tight pants to appeal more to the gays. It's getting too damn hetero!!

Wink
