Greetings fellow Walderites.

I'm really thrilled to discover this forum.
Muton was always my favourite toy, as you can see by the artwork below:



This is a commemorative plate design for an exhibition by the New English pottery in Stoke on Trent.
The text is an abridged version of an essay I wrote for The Illustrated Ape magazine 'I love 76' issue.

I was just thinking, "why don't we have any Muton commemorative plates??" Now I have hope for a better world! I'd love to eat off that plate, nice work!

I'm hoping it'll be a hit & I can do a whole service with Subforms, Cyborg etc Wink
Just think, a Cybonator cruet set, Torg sugar bowl, Amaluk milk jug... the possibilities are endless.

The exhibition dates for the show this plate will be a part of have just been announced.
Apparently there will be a limited edition of Muton plates & a catalogue available, though I don't know numbers/prices yet.
Details below:

Tectonic Plates

The New English, a pottery company currently shaking up the UK ceramics scene, are opening "The New English Gallery" with what they hope will be the biggest display of art on plates in the World.
The show will run til April 3rd after which time it will move on to Madison Ave. NYC.


March 27th-April 3rd
