This thread reminded me to go looking for Retro Resin, who did an Aurora style Monsters of the Movies kit of the classic Fly. But it appears Retro Resin have bitten the dust, and gone is my chance to get their cool repros and new kits.

I wish I could get one of those factory kits for cheap, while I suck at models, it would be fun to have those little 1/100 figures to have to display with other Macross stuff. They aren't around much anymore.

Thanks guys! That's some great info!

Ha ha! Baz, those are called "garage sales" here in the States (as you probably know), strange that people here never took to packing up and driving to a field. Lazy Americans want everyone to come to them! MY parents are garage sale aficionados!

Yeah Hypno, was entertaining the idea of possibly meeting up! Wasn;t sure who'd be around. I'm not a drinker so it'd be a "meet for lunch" and I'll get your first pint!

I'll be around from the 17th to the 22nd of March, with the last day or two being in France. I'll keep in touch around the time we're headed over.

I was AWARE of this film, but until my sister-in-law told us to go and see it,
it was off my radar. What was your opinion?

It is new and easy enough to find in any rental machine at the grocery store.
It was actually not bad. Reminded me a bit of MOON (the recent Film by Zowie Bowie), but this had more Action.
Wish it was not so dimnly lit, but it was decent. Cool Critters, etc.

I only wish I knew a little Vietnamese, as there was a lot of dialogue that was not subtitled.
